Lady Haig's Poppy Factory

We are proud to announce Lady Haig's Poppy Factory (LHPF) as our official charity partner.

"The Lady Haig Poppy Factory was established in 1926 in the aftermath of the First World War. It only employed disabled veterans and made all the items for the Scottish Poppy Appeal. From small beginings it soon employed over 100 men. Today the factory still only employs disabled ex-servicemen and women and continues to make all the poppies and other items for the annual Scottish Poppy Appeal, from its Edinburgh based premises. As well as 4 million poppies we also make all the other items associated with the appeal and make and sell throughout the year remembrance wreaths, which we dispatch all over the world. The factory now employs 41 disabled veterans, is a supported business and a registered charity. Any donation you wish to make will be placed in the factory welfare fund and used to pay for goods and services that our workforce would otherwise struggle to access.

Your support is appreciated by us greatly."
